Annascaul Beerfest

“August  Bank  Holiday  in  Annascaul   is  Beerfest  Bank  Holiday”

ANNASCAUL , Co. KERRY –  The  community  and  publicans  of  Annascaul,  Co. Kerry  are  inviting  all  to  the  8th  annual  Annascaul  Beerfest  which  will  be  held  in  the  village  on  August  Bank  Holiday  Weekend  July 31 – August 2 2015.

The  festival  has  grown  over  the  last 7 years  and  this  year  we  will again be hosting the event between Friday and Sunday.   The 2014 event raised €6,000 for Kerry Cancer Support Group  and  €2,000 for the local school.

Annascaul Beerfest has two main aims:
1. To donate money to charities and local causes
2. To put on a great event doing it

After raising €8000 for charity in 2014 we are now aiming to make an even bigger charitable donation to Down Syndrome Kerry in 2015.

How you ask?

The main attraction this year will be the headline performance from Hermitage Green & a special performance from folk duo Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin on Saturday 1st August.  Tickets available on ticketstop.ie
We will also continue with providing premium world beers & Irish craft beers in the village pubs.  We will be stocking beers such as Kona from Hawaii and Colomba from France to name a few. There will be local food on show all weekend and Taste of Kerry vendors selling their delicious food on Sunday afternoon.  Sunday will be a more family orientated day with bouncy castles and face painting in addition to the various food and craft stalls in the village green.
Our main sponsor is Crean’s Fresh Irish Lager and the lager will be available in all venues culminating in a Crean’s bar in the Connor Crean Centre where sales of Crean’s will go directly to charity.
